Visit to Chernivtsi National University

From May 14 to 17, Oleh Yermakov visited the Institute of Physical, Technical and Computer Sciences at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University (ChNU).

May 14: We explored the newly inaugurated student engineering space "Spectrum" and had the opportunity to connect with many prominent Ukrainian personalities in optics and photonics.

May 15: Oleh delivered a plenary lecture at the international conference PREDT 2025, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of ChNU and the 35th anniversary of the Department of Radio Engineering and Information Security. His presentation highlighted the activities of the Ukrainian Optical and Photonic Society.

May 16: We toured various laboratories and facilities within the Department of Radio Engineering and Information Security.

May 17: The visit concluded with a hike to the summit of Stijok Mountain, where we enjoyed a team-building session featuring informal discussions in a scenic setting.

Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University has been and remains one of the key centers for optics and photonics in Ukraine.
