On June 15 2025, we started the membership of the Ukrainian Optical and Photonic Society. It is free of charge until 31 December 2026.

June 15 is a special date for us, when James Clerk Maxwell’s groundbreaking paper "A Dynamical Theory of the Electromagnetic Field" was formally approved by the Royal Society’s Committee 160 years ago. This marked the final step before its publication in the Philosophical Transactions in 1865. In this work, Maxwell presented the definitive form of what we now know as Maxwell's equations.
